This Is the Diary of A Girl

Political Stand

Canada has once again impressed me.
Lack of U.N. support for military force ensures Canada wont fight. Only two other countries have provided use of their military: England and Australia.
But I know that removing Saddam will be great for the Iraqi people. All countries deserve freedom of speech, etc.
I believe Bush did the worst thing. It doesnt have to be through war. Yeah, so attack the whole country and put innocent people at risk, only if your trying to capture one person. Thats stupid Bush! We have too much at risk. What is going to stop Iraq from obtaining a gang of other countries for a counterattack?

Bush would have decided to attack, solo or not, no matter what, while Blair decided to betray his supporters decisions. There wasnt much support in England for war, at least not much more than Canada. Canadian Prime Minister Jean Chrtien remains the diligent one; he couldnt betray the decision of his supporters, only for his strong belief in the U.N. Yay for my brother who works for the United Nations.

So if Canada supposedly is the United States strongest ally, and Canada doesnt stand along with the U.S. militarily, why ridicule other allies such as France, Russia, and Germany by renaming and boycotting goods?
While I write this, I think I am going to freedom braid my hair. Thats shameful; Bush, especially since France isnt the only country respectively not going to war.

This conflict is a huge mistake, why wait after many years to disarm Saddam through war? What will happen if the Iraqi military surrender?
Or Bush will over throw Saddam for his countries billion barrels of oil. Thats greedy, Bush. Thats the countries only export for money, so take it all away from them, Bush. Leave them with nothing. No wonder Saddam will set the oil ablaze, including digging trenches filled with oil nearby schools. You see what Saddam will do to his own people; Americans dont belong on foreign soil. There is still no proof that Iraq possesses weapons of mass destruction, the inspectors and American spies would have located them by now.
This is your legacy Bush, taunting Iraqi people, sending the country in to chaos, causing innocent people to die. That is your respect. Is this act of revenge caused by the attack on the World Trade Centers?
Resolving this issue didnt have to turn out this way. War isnt the right answer, as many people would agree.

Fight for peace, and protest war!
