This Is the Diary of A Girl

Saturday and Sunday - make an interesting couple of days...

Sunday, Aug. 25, 2002 @ 22:43

I haven't been able to get much sleep lately - from this weekend.
Well, on Saturday morning we went to the cottage (after a long time.) Pointless trip really. We were going to bring some junk that was in the basement there, but since my mother has a really bad (sore,) rist, we didn't bring anything there. Not even one cat. Nope! But not to complain, Jenna! ... (me.)
We just brought little things back, (whitch is the exact opposite of what we needed to do...) Well, maybe not. My mother has decided to sell our traillor or cottage, whatever... For more money when we move to the south of Ontario. Damn, the cottage is not worth much anyway! Just a stupid tattered little place...

We didn't stay there long, and then we went to the watch me friend's house, and gave her some stuff that wasn't needed at the traillor. She was happy... Just board game and gardening stuff really. It was a pretty short visit...

And today - Sunday. - yes...
Me and mum got up quite early. Earlier than usual, anyway...
Mum's CEO moved about a week ago, and we went to go visit him this morning. He lives very far away, almost an hour and a half away from Ottawa, (via car.)
It was so ... totally ... worth the trip and visit there...
Sooooo, beautiful at his new home...
Not to many other houses,
Open area,
Forest in the back yard with lots of wild life,
quiet,
and , just, peaceful.
He said he would grow old there, and mum and I envy him ... lots...

The three of us went grocery shopping, and had lunch at his house. It was wonderful... They had curry chicken while I had a veggy burger.

After that, mum told him if he wanted to go back to Ottawa to see a movie with us, but he had "house chores" to take care of. Darn... But that's daily life...

Hmmmm, bad news: While heading back to Ottawa, mum got a call from the watch me friend. One of her relatives was shot. I didn't know this person, neither did mum, but the watch me friend was quite upset...

We did go see Marita's story. An excellent movie. it's basically all in German. Ja, Deutsch!
There are captions in English, there was also some Spanish in it too, since some of it took place in Cuba. Oh, it's not really a movie, more like a documentary, on a wonan's life. Very good,a lot of it takes place in New York around the time of the assassination of pressident: John F. Kennedy.
Anyone should go and see it, but remember that it's in German.

After the movie, mum dropped me off at home so she could spend a lot of time with the watch me friend.

Well, good night to you all.
Till next time -
Jenna.

Miss these?
