This Is the Diary of A Girl

Carnival Day

Sunday, Sept. 02, 2007 @ 01:02

Instead of doing a yard sale today, a group of us went to the Balloon Festival. It was awesome! Its a carnival like the Super Ex but cheaper. The younger sons GF brought her baby and her brother. We knew not to go for the $55 for a bracelet. We got around 48 coupons for $22 each. We even got on a couple of rides for free. I wish we had gotten on a hot air balloon but it was nearly $200 per person and you had to get your tickets way in advance. Doesnt that defeat the purpose of a balloon festival?

There were lots of tents set up to sell things. I bought two black tank tops, natural soap, and mom wanted a black sweater.

This festival made me realize how silly the French are. There was trash everywhere, many smokers, people spitting off the rides, smelly rest rooms, and lots of drunken people. I yelled Fucking French people, and no one understood me, muwhahahaha. The last ride we went on, we had to wait forever. The people on the ride before us were drunk, misbehaving and pretended to get off then boarded it again so we were all pushed back. Then a bunch of people budded in front of us. The funny thing was, the control person made their ride very short, then forced them off. They got ripped off and they deserved it. Our ride was extra long.

Once we got off the ride it was closing time. Since it was the 20 year anniversary for the festival, there was a fireworks show. It was better than the Canada Day fireworks. Lots of shapes, bright colours, streaming ones, curly ones; just fabulous.

We left after the fireworks were done. There was a very attractive Ford truck parked beside us. I think it was the Avalanche but I could be wrong. Traffic was horrendous on the way out because it has to be directed. Some French j-walkers tried going in front of us but we didnt slow down forcing them to stop. Mom yelled Fuck off, and that scared them. Their eyes literally rolled back. They must have been drunk.

My feet are so sore. I havent walked around that much since the last Evanescence concert.
